NASHVILLE, – Morgan Wallen, the country music sensation, found himself behind bars Sunday night following allegations that he hurled a chair from the rooftop of a Broadway bar.
As per the arrest affidavit, witnesses observed the 30-year-old Wallen at Chief’s rooftop around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, where he purportedly grabbed a chair, tossed it over the roof’s edge, and chuckled about it. Notably, the bar’s rooftop stands six stories above Broadway.
Metro Nashville Police Department officials stationed below on Broadway reported that the chair landed mere feet away from them, as detailed in the affidavit. Law enforcement officers proceeded to interview bar personnel, eyewitnesses, and scrutinized security footage, all of which corroborated the purported actions attributed to Wallen, according to the affidavit.
